Hi, I’m Mark Peterson

An elderly man with round glasses and a gray sweater standing outdoors in front of green trees and a building with stairs.

Mark Peterson has been a resident of Watertown for more than 50 years.  He’s been a longtime advocate for transit and helped pass the city’s ordinance which originally formed the Watertown TMA.  He’s also a daily bus and subway rider.

Mark has a masters degree in urban planning and has worked in healthcare information technology at local hospitals and facilities.  He’s now engaged in fine arts photography with a studio/gallery in the SoWa arts and design district.
